Descrição: Men of various regiments board a troopship in a French port. The ship moves off and clears the harbour mouth accompanied by a P Class patrol boat. In the Channel lifebelts are issued "in case of a stray mine". The ship's captain keeps watch on the bridge while his crew act up for the camera and play leapfrog. A transport ship passes going the other way. A G Class destroyer passes. An SSZ airship on patrol comes quite low over the ship. Soldiers watch over the rail for England. After the ship's arrival the soldiers disembark. They arrive at Victoria Station in London, and drive away by bus, taxi and charabanc.
